Your ancient adventure awaits!
Come and visit our Iron Age Village where you will meet friendly members of our tribe (10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3pm) who will tell you all about life in the Iron Age. You will have the opportunity to have a go with a slingshot (weather permitting), watch a demonstration of an ancient craft or skill and be painted with beautiful blue patterns. A guided tour of the village is also included in your admission fee at 12 noon.

Experience the Iron Age with no loud or noisy activities or demonstrations. Normal admission applies.

Home Education Day – Iron Age Focus on Food
Friday 14 February 10.00am – 2.30pm
A chance for home schooling families and groups to experience the Schools Programme at Castell Henllys. Pupils will be taken back in time for a session led by our costumed interpreters. Our Schools Programme is designed for KS2 and is aimed at children aged 7-11. Older children are welcome to attend with younger siblings.
In this session find out about life in the Iron Age with a focus on how food was prepared and stored.
£8 per child. Includes one free adult admission per family group. Booking essential.

Tales of the Pembrokeshire Night Sky
Thursday 27 February, 7pm – 8:30pm
Celebrating the tranquillity of the Pembrokeshire night sky for Wales’ Dark Sky Week with a magical evening under the stars at Castell Henllys, in the company of Mari Mathias, storyteller and musician. Have you ever wondered what our ancestors would have made of the night sky glistening with stars? Bringing to life the many local legends, deities, and the Mabinogion, each myth unfolding revealing the wisdoms of the ancients and their relationship with the earth and the cosmos.
Music & Tales of the night sky around a crackling fire inside an iron age round house. Hot drink included. Suitable for adults and older children 8+. Tickets non refundable, sorry no dogs on this event.
