Apple Day at St Brides Orchard
Sunday 29 September, 11am – 3pm - FREE ENTRY AND FREE PARKING!
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority is pleased to announce that the heritage orchard at Brides will be open for our annual celebration of ‘Apples and Ancient Orchards’ on Sunday 29 September.
This is a unique opportunity to visit the orchard, which is not normally open to the public. There will be plenty going on including children’s craft activities, apple pressing, a self-guided history tour, an apple trail and more. Our Rangers will be on hand to talk about this fabulous heritage orchard and the ancient apple trees found here. You may just want to have a leisurely stroll around the orchard and soak up the atmosphere or bring a rug and have a picnic in the walled garden.
We are also pleased to be joined by members of the WI who will have a cake stall fundraising for tree planting in a local school and also the Friends of the National Park will be hosting an open day of the restored pump house in St Brides.
All in all, a great day out!
