CHARACTER: Easy walking, paved and natural surfaces, quiet lanes. 2 stiles.

From Cross Square turn into Nun Street (left from the Pebbles). Turn left after the pink house, signed St Davids City Walk.
Look for gate on right and go through it, then follow path to gate opposite. Go through gate, follow enclosed path and at T-junction, by waymark post, turn left.
Follow enclosed path over stiles down to stream at bottom and stay on path, with stream on right.
At tarmac road, cross bridge, turn left and follow road to wall of ruined Bishop’s Palace. Turn left and follow tarmac lane to footbridge.
Follow the road up the hill, under archway, back to Cross Square.
St Davids, Carn Warpool
DISTANCE: 1.3 miles (2.1 km).
CHARACTER: Reasonably level, fields and livestock, some road walking. 1 ladder stile, wet field, 1 kissing gate.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Service bus St Davids 411, *Puffin Shuttle 400, *Celtic Coaster 403, *Strumble Shuttle 404 (*seasonal, hail & ride).
Walk down the Pebbles, under archway and down the hill. At gate in Cathedral Wall, turn left, at crossing turn left and immediately right, and at the top of the road turn right.
Follow road out of city and, after last house on right, turn left at fingerpost. Follow field edge path, keeping hedge on right.
Go through gate and follow wide path (boardwalk in places) across wet field. Go through kissing gate, along headland path, over ladder stile and turn left on to enclosed path.
Turn left on to tarmac road and, after bend, bear left, then turn left. After pink house turn right and go straight on at crossing to retrace steps back uphill to start.
